It’s getting chilly here in Minnesota, so what better way to beat the cold than to stay inside and scrap?! Make sure you are staying bundled up and keeping warm and cozy 🙂 Follow along to learn how to create a wonderful winter scrapbook border featuring the Glacier stickers.
As hard as it is to see the fall season come to an end, there’s something crisp, quiet and cozy about the long winter ahead that holds an appeal for me. It doesn’t hurt that Creative Memories has just introduced this beautiful Glacier collection to enhance and enliven our pages of all things snowy! Playing with it has gotten me in the spirit of the season, a very looooong one for some of us! Bring it on!
Hi everybody. It’s Nicole with a fun winter layout using the new Glacier Designer Paper Pack, Designer Stickers, and the Variety Mat Pack. The blues in this collection are beautiful! I must admit that I said “oooooooh” when I pulled this gorgeous collection out of the box! And it doesn’t stop at the blues… I can’t get enough of the cute little birdie stickers. 🙂
This collection is perfect for scrapbooking those winter photos! Although we did not get much snow last year, we got maybe an inch or two. Edward was excited to make a snowman, but I had to gently tell him that we weren’t getting that kind of snow. So we went outside so he could eat the snow and then throw fluffy snowballs at mommy for about twenty minutes.
Learn how to create this fun border using the Creative Memories Sugarplum Collection. Along with the Holly Border Punch and the Poinsettia Punch. Perfect border for any holiday scrapbook layout! If you haven’t had a chance to scrap with this collection, you need to order it today!!
So what happens when you combine the awesome Mix & Match papers with the adorable Sugarplum Collection and Holly Border Punch? Well, more adorable awesomeness, of course! Just in case any of you are craving a little traditional red and green or jewel tones this Holiday Season, I’ve added little pops of those colors from the Mix & Match paper packs. The Holly Border Punch brings it all together and gives the borders a festive feel.
The new Sugarplum collection is so whimsical and cheerful, it has me smiling today! Guess you could say I’ve got visions of Sugarplums dancing in my head. Time to play with these fun papers and adorable stickers and create some holiday borders!
The borders I’ve made will look great either added to the beautiful Sugarplum Fast2Fab pre-designed album pages or any other layout you have in mind. I’ve added a matching title or journal box to add to a double page spread, or they can be adapted to make a card.
Fast2Fab Albums have quickly become my favorite way to scrapbook! I love how quickly and easily the pages come together, helping me stay caught up on my projects. Plus, with the matching papers and embellishments, I can add a little personalization and flexibility to the printed pages. Sometimes I’ll keep it super simple with just my photos and journaling; other times I’ll have more fun with it, adding borders, titles and stickers to spice it up.
No matter how old I get, Halloween will always be a fun and playful holiday to me. And the new Toil & Trouble collection is so fun and playful and colorful, it just puts me in the mood for tricks and treats! Making these borders was so easy and fun, I may just have to reward myself with a little Halloween candy from my secret stash…shhh!
Whether you play the game or cheer in the stands, sports of all kinds offer some of the most exhilarating moments of our lives! Capture all the excitement of game day by snapping pics of the action, the players and teams. Try to include wide shots of the venue and close-ups of determined and focused faces. Add programs & ticket stubs, and journal all the highlights. Then pull it all together on your page layout with some action-inspiring borders.
One of my favourite things to do when Creative Memories launches a new Border Maker Cartridge is to punch out a whole pile of the new border and just play! I like to see how it can be layered, stacked, positioned on a page, etc. I just love spending some time being creative! I also love seeing which other Border Maker Cartridges coordinate nicely with it.
Today I want to share with you what came out of my playing and experimenting with the new Dancing Daisies Border Maker Cartridge. I chose to punch a pile of white border strips as a starting point and then used the Mix and Match Paper Pack and Embellishments to complete some borders.
