Hi creators! I must admit, I haven’t been making as many mini albums lately. My mom reminds me often that she hasn’t received any minis in awhile. She loves it when I give her little mini scrapbook albums. I didn’t realize how much they meant to her until one night, she said, I look at your albums when I am feeling sad; they make me happy. How sweet! You just never know how doing the littlest thing can help someone…
Hi everyone! My family and I just celebrated my grandmother’s 80th birthday and since she loves mini albums, I decided to make one for her. The party was somewhat a surprise. We just told her we were going to celebrate her birthday at my sister’s, but she had no idea that there would be family members traveling from New York, Kentucky and Virginia to celebrate her big day! She was truly touched that so many people cared about her. She made us all cry when she walked through the front door and I am sad that I did not get the photo!
The newest Archiver’s collection is perfect for the mini 2×3 Pocket Album! I love the patterns, color palette and laser die cuts in this gorgeous collection. Ah, it’s so pretty! I just love the rose patterned paper!
What to send in a care package to a niece who’s away at college? Well, homemade cookies and candy, of course! But to personalize it a bit, I found some favorite photos of her, printed them at 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ and matted some with Denim Blues paper to fill the pages of a Mini Album. I tucked in a little note of encouragement and a few gift cards. Finally, I accented the pages with Denim Blues Embellishments.
The small, adorable size of the 8×8 album is perfect for gift albums, weekender albums and tribute albums. But sometimes adding another project on top of the regular family albums you’re already working on can seem a little daunting. Not anymore! My husband travels a lot for work and it can be lonely when you are required to be a away from your family and your home. We all carry cell phones that have lots of photos stored on them and access to social media to see what is happening at home, but there is nothing as rewarding as holding an album with printed photos of the people you love in your hands.
The 2 x 3 pocket album is a great size to tuck in your laptop bag or your suitcase to take on the road with you to keep your family close to your heart when you need to be away from them.
