The countdown until Christmas has started for me! Have you tried the Jagged Tearing Tool yet? If not, you need to put it on your wish list 🙂 With this tool you can create flawless torn edges for your scrapbook layouts & borders. I loved creating this festive layout using the Sugarplum Collection along with the paper-tearing tool.
I love everything about the Christmas season; my family traditions, making new traditions with friends, red and green decorations, blue and silver decorations…you name it and if it’s Christmas, I’m in. One thing that is tradition in my area (maybe everywhere else too?) is living/singing Christmas trees. Choral groups in Christmas tree formation with beautiful poinsettias in front of them. It so happens I just received my poinsettia punch! So inspired by the singing poinsettia Christmas tree, I tried to recreate that on my layout! Here’s to traditions old and new….no matter how you celebrate with your family and friends…take pictures and preserve those memories!
December is a BIG month in so many ways. For most of the month much of North America celebrates the holiday season. The memories and traditions are different for each of us. Some of us drink eggnog, while others sip hot chocolate by the fire while singing Christmas carols with the family.
How would you like to capture those memories and traditions this December for your family to look back on for many years to come?
Maybe you bake a certain cookie, in which the recipe was passed down from Aunt Betty, or you hang an ornament on the tree that was given to your grandmother by your grandfather the first year they were married. Documenting those important facts not only benefits you, but the generations to come. Your family will appreciate those documented tid-bits year after year when you pull out your December Diary to display as part of your holiday decor.
The Christmas Past Collection recalls the tradition of holidays spent with family. The sounds, smells and feelings of the season evoke nostalgia for the warmth of gathering with those you love, all through your lives.
The new Christmas Past Collection will bring you back, connecting Christmases past with present, reminding you of the traditions that connect your family through the years.
These borders will work well with any Christmas photos you want to remember and feature in your albums.
These borders work perfectly with the pre-designed pages of the Christmas Past Fast2Fab Album and are a fun way to add a personal touch.

It’s not often that I happen to be scrapbooking “in season”.
Right now, I’m working on albums for both of my grandchildren and have come upon Christmas photos.
Creative Memories’ holiday collections are seasonal items, and we won’t get our new holiday collection until later this fall.
But no worries! Both our A Year to Remember Part 1 and A Year to Remember Part 2 paper packs contain a few sheets of red and green prints.
This totally cute & fun layout comes to us all the way from Australia! Miss Kelly Batten runs the show down under, and she whipped out this layout that can showcase all kinds of fun photos. Think Christmas Choir Concert, Christmas caroling, etc. Click to read full post
